Polis & Latchi
SATURDAY TOUR – Euros 25.00
St. Neophytos Monastery, Polis
Baths of Aphrodite, Latchi
The tour begins visiting St. Neophytos Monastery with its 12th
century frescoes and caves.
Driving northwards through some small villages we arrive in Polis
where there once stood the ancient city “Kingdon of Marion”. At this
charming square we have a break for coffee.
Passing the pretty fishing village of Latchi, we arrive at the Baths
of Aphrodite, where according to legend, the Goddess Aphrodite used
to take her beauty bath in a pool of a natural grotto, shaded by a
fig tree. The myth tells you that you will gain eternal youth and
beauty from the water of the natural spring.
You have time for lunch, a little walk along the coast line,
sunbathing, swimming (weather permitting) alternatively, just have a
“Metrio” or “Brandy Sour” and chill out.
We travel back to Paphos enjoying the panoramic views whilst
travelling through the villages of Kathikas and Peyia.

Troodos
MONDAY & THURSDAY TOUR – Euros 25.00
Pafos Forest, Kykkos Monastery, Tomb of Makarios, Platres
Commencing our journey, we travel through the ‘ecological heart’ of
Cyprus, with its idyllic villages and evergreen forests. Stopping
for a short time at Platres for refreshments.
We will then travel through the Troodos Square and upwards to the
highest point in Cyprus, Mount Olympus, standing 1,951 metres about
sea level (weather permitting).
Our next stop is the breathtaking Kykkos Monastery, the most famous
and wealthiest monastery on the island, founded in 1092.
Here you will have ample time to visit the Tomb of Archbishop and
President Makarios and then enjoy lunch in the restaurant nearby.
Returning to your hotel travelling though the panoramic forest of
Pafos.
Please note that there is a strict dress code in the monastery and
modest attire is required. Shoulders and knees must be covered – no
shorts or low-cut blouses.
Nicosia
FRIDAY SHOPPING – Euros 25.00
TUESDAY NICOSIA/LEFKARA – Euros 25.00
Cathedral of St. John, Green Line, Shopping, Lefkara Village
Our tour starts in Nicosia, the only divided capital in the world.
Driving through the old city of Nicosia we visit the cathedral of St
John which dates back to the 17th century.
We pass through the Venetian walls, Famagusta gate and the Statue of
Liberty.
We continue our tour into the recently restored 19th century quarter
of the city Laiki Yitonia where you will have time for lunch and
walk to the Green Line which divides the city in two.
From Nicosia we then journey south towards Lefkara, a picturesque
village, world renowned for handmade lace and silver.
Famagusta
SATURDAY TRIP – Euros 43.00
Salamina, Cathedral of St. Nikolaos, Ghost City, Ayia Napa
Remember you will need your passports as we will be visiting the
occupied area of Cyprus,
This is an excursion you will never forget.
A visit to Famagusta, the part which is occupied by the Turks as
well as the part developed after 1974. Our first stop will be at
Choirokitia, with settlements dating back to 9000 B.C., here we stop
for refreshments.
We then continue to the check point and from there we visit the city
of Famagusta within the Venetian walls. You can walk around the
market and visit the impressive Gothic monument: The Cathedral of
St. Nikolaos, 14th century, which is now a mosque. Outside the walls
we will visit the ancient kingdom of Salamina, one of the 11
kingdoms built by the Greeks in the 12th century, famous for its
theatre and the gymnasium. Leaving Famagusta we pass by the Ghost
City and the abandoned hotels.
Our last stop will be Ayia Napa, the great resort famous for the
golden beaches.
Limassol
THURSDAY TRIP – Euros 25.00
Aphrodite’s Birthplace, Kourion, Kolossi, Winery
On this tour you will discover the legends and history which
surround this beautiful region.
Beginning at the Rock of Aphrodite, where according to legend the
Goddess of Beauty and Love was born rising out of the waves.
We continue our tour to Kourion* visiting the stunning amphitheatre
and House of Eustolius with fantastic mosaics. After a visit to the
Crusader castle of Kolossi*, which was originally constructed in the
13th century by the knights of St John, we arrive in the coastal
town of Limassol.
Whilst in Limassol we visit one of the islands largest wineries
where you will be able to taste some of their famous brands and buy
a bottle or two of your favourite. In the centre of Limassol you
have ample time for lunch and the opportunity to track down a
holiday bargain in the shops.
Please note that entrance fees for the Kourion & Kolossi are not
included
Kyrenia
TUESDAY & FRIDAY TRIP – Euros 36.00
This is one day that will give you many great memories.
Remember you will need your passports as we will be visiting the
occupied area of Cyprus.
A journey into occupied Northern Cyprus, a different way of life.
Passing through the checkpoint and driving through the Pentadaktylos
Mountains into the picturesque town of Kyrenia.
Bordered to the north by the sea and to the south by the greenery of
the Five Finger mountain range, it offers the most magnificent
scenery on the island.
Explore the narrow cobbled alleys behind the harbour and take lunch
in one of the local cafes.
After lunch we travel south of Kyrenia to Bellapais abbey, a
beautiful example of Gothic art, built on a rocky mountain top. The
main part of the monastery was built in 1198 and the Italian
frescoes seen at the entrance were painted in the 15th century.
Our day ends with the journey back to Pafos.
Round Trip
TUESDAY & FRIDAY TRIP – Euros 35.00
Birth place of Aphrodite, Larnaca, Nicosia, Troodos Mountains
Experience the hospitable island of Cyprus, the birthplace of
Aphrodite.
Driving along the picturesque coast road towards Limassol we see the
Rock of Aphrodite, where the Goddess or Beauty and Love was born.
Stroll along the sea-front of Larnaca with the lovely palm trees and
visit the famous cathedral of St Lazarus from the 9th century.
Enjoy a drink of have lunch in the restored old city of Nicosia,
walk through the cafeterias and have a look at the occupied area.
A visit to one of the Unesco churches, Panayia of Podithou, with
amazing frescoes, will take your breath away. Drive through
Kakopetria village with its fruit and nut trees and through the
green heart of Cyprus, the ‘Troodos Mountains’.
Lastly we visit Omodos village with its winery and the old monastery
of the Holy Cross.
